HOW MUCH DOES SHOWX COST?
SHOWX is free for all verified musicians and venues.
HOW DO I SETUP TICKETING?
To control ticketing with your own platform simply create a performance through our shortcut menu and select 'Ticketed Event'. First time users will need to select 'Request Ticketing' and a SHOWX team member will get you set up.
WHEN CAN I START TICKETING?
As soon as your account is setup you can start selling tickets!
DOES SHOWX VERIFY THAT I AM A MUSICIAN?
Yes. We are a network for serious musicians and venues and to protect the integrity of our community we verify everyone on the platform.
HOW DOES SHOWX VERIFY ME?
We are not gatekeepers, we welcome musicians at all levels and venues of all sizes. We check your social media for signs that you are taking your music career seriously.
WHAT ARE ANCHORS?
Anchors is our anonymous system for users to show they trust one another. Users will never see who anchored them, or who removed an anchor. No users will ever be able to see who has anchored another user.
WHY DOES SHOWX HAVE ANCHORS?
To maintain a high level of integrity as a networking platform for new connections, having a metric that represents anonymous trust from other users is valuable to our community.
HOW DO I GET 'ANCHORED'?
When you gain the trust of other users they can choose to anonymously anchor you by selecting the anchor icon on your profile.
CAN ANCHORS BE TAKEN AWAY?
Yes they can, the same way they were given, by de-selecting the anchor icon on your profile.
HOW DO OTHER USERS FIND ME ON SHOWX?
Your profile will be automatically shared to other users' Discovery, so users outside of your network can discover you.
CAN USERS SHARE MY PROFILE?
Yes, and you can share other users profiles to the connections you make on SHOWX, which will appear in your followers feed.
CAN I MESSAGE ANYONE I WANT?
You can message anyone directly who is following you. You can also send messages to any users who are not following you, and that will appear as a message request. Message requests have to be approved by the recipient before a conversation can begin.
CAN I SEND GROUP MESSAGES?
Yes! Group messaging is a great way to network and introduce other users who aren’t yet connected.
CAN I SEND LINKS IN MESSAGING?
Yes, and you can share other users' profiles in messaging as well!
HOW DO I INVITE OTHER MUSICIANS?
Word of mouth works best! Send your fellow musicians and venues to the link below, or DM us on Instagram (@joinshowx) for a quick verification process.
CAN I HAVE MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS?
Absolutely! Many artists are in bands but also have solo projects, you can network from any/every account you set up!
